Ahead Academy is an institution involved in a rich amalgamation of scientific enquiry and comprehensive dental care service. At this institution, we believe in educating the dentists to develop a good patient relationship, efficiently manage a dental office, design a good treatment plan and utilize the state-of-the-art materials and techniques. Our goal is to supplement the existing pool of dental and medical knowledge with an intention to promote public health. We strive to educate dentists with a broader vision who will play a leading role in oral health care in the next millennium.
Depending on the nature of the treatment being delivered, resident students treat between four and six patients daily.
Each operator is fully equipped with a computer, monitor, and necessary hardware for the full treatment of patients. In addition, there is a computer for developing and viewing digital radiography on the clinic floor. There are several computers with internet access available for resident students at the Ahead Academy Clinic.
The clinical preceptors meet regularly for continuing education sessions and to review the educational goals and policies of the program.
Dentistry Courses – Way to Draw a Smile at Everyone’s Face
To prepare for their entry to the field, students meet with dental school faculty and receive information about the dental courses. Prior to the community-based experience, students complete coursework on culture, dental practice, the health care delivery system, and special needs populations. To show appreciation for their services, community preceptors, along with their staffs, are invited to an annual meeting that includes continuing education at the Ahead Academy.
Clinical Hands on Practical training Dental Courses are offered by Ahead Academy on part time & full time basis. These courses are available in Esthetic Dentistry, Basic Endodontics, Post & Core, Rotary Endodontics, Fixed Prosthodontics, Overdentures, Implantology, Fixed Orthodontics, Pedodontics, Periodontics and many more specialties.
